Donating materials
The Interfaith Winter Shelter is accepting donations of materials to be distributed and used at the four shelter locations. We are seeking the following items:
- Healthy snack packs – nuts, dried fruit
- Fresh fruit – especially bananas
- Bleach
- White socks – adult sizes
- Warm gloves, hats
Donations can be dropped off at Trinity Episcopal (111 S. Grant St.), First United Church (2420 E. Third St.), or First Christian Church (205 E. Kirkwood) for distribution to needed locations. Please mark: “Winter Shelter” with your name and contact information. We’d like to thank you!
Financial contributions
The Interfaith Winter Shelter is now accepting financial contributions to purchase supplies for the shelter locations. There are a variety of ways to contribute financially:
Members of participating faith communities
If you are a member of the any of the participating faith communities
- Write a check payable to your church
- In the memo line, write “Interfaith Winter Shelter”
Members of the community at large
- Write your check payable to Trinity Episcopal Church
- In the memo line, write “Interfaith Winter Shelter”
